Two Rivers Country Club Wedding

Shannon and Jeremy’s beautiful Two Rivers Country Club wedding was full of rustic elegance and gentle simplicity on the banks of the James River. The winners of a wedding giveaway, the entire vendor team worked together to make their dream day a reality.

After attending the same high school, these two met in college at West Virginia University. While Jeremy had originally planned an elaborate engagement on the beach with an heirloom diamond ring, a bit of a mix-up led to a unique story! One night before heading out on a date, they stopped by Jeremy’s grandparents house. As Jeremy walked into the house, his grandfather asked if Jeremy had picked up the engagement ring, not knowing that Shannon was right behind him! And while it wasn’t what they had planned on, it led to one of the most beautiful days of their life when Jeremy entered them into the wedding giveaway- and they won! So many details of Shannon and Jeremy’s wedding were personal touches- from the West Virginia socks all of the groomsmen wore to having their dog Judge be the ring bearer! They danced the night away to “Country Roads” by John Denver and had their exit among gold and cream ribbons waving in the warm summer breeze.
